Initial Reactions

Like the rest of the Sarenzo Beauty products, it came well masked and wrapped up tight! A very clean look and the jar was filled to the brim!

Consistency

Definitely the consistency of a type of pudding! It is certainly the type of product that could spill all everywhere if you're not careful. It has a creamy texture, but I kind of got the feeling that it would be a little lumpy in texture. But I was pleasantly surprised to know that as soon as I went to rub it between my palms, it instantly felt like silk and rubbed in so well and easily. No lumps or unwanted textures with this product!

Now the smell is probably my least favorite smell of their line so far. I got it in the scent of Twisted Cotton Candy which is supposed to smell like "sugary sweet cotton candy confection! Strawberry, Raspberry, Plum, sugary crystals and sweet vanilla" and to me....... it does have a scent of cotton candy but... it's not as concentrated as I would've liked it to be. It almost smells like play-doh. Like cotton candy scented play-doh. It's not terrible, I can tolerate this more than other scents and it's not like it's totally overbearing either. But, it's not my most favorite scent. And definitely not after smelling the Tinsel scent and the Pumpkin Spice!!!

Normal Routine

Now, today, I took down my african threaded hair and to my surprise, it actually got extremely straight. It looked like I blow-dried my hair for REAL.

And the Sarenzo Beauty products left so much shine in my hair and made it feel like pure silk. I just could not get over the way my hair felt!

So I finger detangled each tendril until it resulted in what looked like a true blowout. I still can't get over how this was achieved with only threading my hair! I may not ever touch a blowdryer ever again! Besides using the diffuser attachment to quickly blowdry wash and go's (that I rarely do anyways lol), I don't really have much use for them. And after seeing how I achieved a blowout look without the blowdry?..... Yeah, this new technique just made going heatless THAT MUCH easier...

So after a few moments of feeling like Nala from the Lion King (and maybe catwalking around the house O____O"), I sat down and begin to put in some medium-sized twists using the Hair Pudding from Sarenzo.

It rubbed in so smooth and so well, I love how their products make my hair feel like pure silk. These products make my hair feel like I have castor oil in my hair, but minus all the extra heaviness afterwards. I mean, these products do have castor oil in them, so that might be a contribution.

I only used a small amount like the directions said since I didn't want overly crunchy hair, and I did not seal with an oil on top of it. I kind of want it to have a cast over it since I don't want it fluffing out throughout the day and losing any definition.

To maintain the length I got, I decided to african thread the twists before I tied them down and got ready for bed...

Finishing Up

I noticed that my scalp was feeling a little dried out, so I did apply my spearmint oil mix to the scalp and lightly massaged it in. And of course, tied it up with my satin scarf and tied the ends with a scrunchy to keep the hair in place.

But so far, yes ma'am!!!! I really, really love these products! I love what they do for my hair, I love the way they smell, I love how generally affordable they are (or can be), I'm really digging Sarenzo! Sarenzo Beauty's products have so far provided incredible moisture and shine. The only thing standing between Sarenzo and first place is the definition and hold. Qhemet Biologics products did not give me any kind of definition whatsoever though they give my hair incredible amounts of moisture.

But regardless, Qhemet Biologics and Sarenzo Beauty are both staples! I just love these products that much. Stay tuned for the final resulting twistout!

But until next time,

♥ Keep calm 'n coily ♥
