- Limited-edition Minnie tin

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Parabens

Initial Reactions:

I ended up buying this mini case for the sole purpose of having a high enough balance to get free shipping lol. I rarely wear makeup, let alone brightly covered lip stains lol.

The case it came in was very cute! A gold tin with black polka dots! I really liked that. Trying to pop those tiny lip stains out of the plastic was kind of trifling. I had to use the tip of my craft scissors to gently pop them out, but at least you know it's sealed in their tightly lol.

The colors were beautiful in the packaging! So bright and bold! Now that I do like.

Wearing them? Welllllll............

From initial reactions, it's a nice creamy consistency. Swipes on like a lip gloss and spreads easily as well. It spreads kind of thin to me but I'm not sure if that's just hop lip stains are in general I mean, this is my first trial run with lip stains... period.

So, everyone raves that this is supposed to last you all day. And since I'm typically.... on the more "agressive" type (as opposed to being 'dainty'), it was put to the test.

I swiped it on about 3 times before I let it dry. So I guess it only amounts to one coat in total. The color was pretty bright in my opinion, though it did feel a little translucent as well. It probably would've been even bolder if I would've applied another coat, but I already didn't want to be seen with bright lips anyway, so I stuck with the one.

It is drying, but it's not something that would dissuade me from repurchasing. I think the drying nature is what it supposed to allow it to "stick" and still be colorful without so-called having to "reapply" it.

But yo, when it came to that "last all day" slogan, that was a LIE!!

Here is how it started out...

Apparently, it last all day if you're eating salads and drinking cups of air. It started fading about 6 hours into the day...

If you can tell, the outside area of my lips quickly began fading out.

Now this may be because I'm typically the person that does a lot with their face lol. I regularly rub my lips together, or pinch them together, or something like that. So, that could very well be why the outer edges were starting to fade.

By the end of my lunch which was like another 2 hours later, that lip stain was GONE!!! Never stood a chance against the BK Texas Whopper lol.

I didn't bother to reapply since I had already did enough fear-conquering for the day. And after that, I was back to Plain Jane again.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I do like it.

Maybe it didn't last because I don't quite know how to do makeup yet and I'm just starting to get a feel for it. Maybe there's a certain technique to using lip stains that I'm missing... or maybe I just eat too aggressively for any lip stains period lol!

But you know, it's whatever. For my first real entrance into the makeup world, I don't think this was a fail! Would I repurchase it?

Maybe. I'll have to test out the colors and see.

This color that I wore was the Mandarin Muse.

Other colors included in this collection are the: African Violet, Always Red, Whipped Blush and Peach Tart.

So far, I like the Mandarin Muse. I want to try the Always Red one next!

But until next time,

♥ Keep calm 'n coily ♥
