Update on Mystic Divine Moisturizing Products

Okay, so I tried using the Nourishing Leave In Conditioner along with the Luminous Shine Smoothing Oil and it's not to say that these products are not moisturizing my hair, but I don't think it's moisturizing enough.

I don't think it's as much the fault of the leave in conditioner as it might be the smoothing oil. I just don't think the oil is heavy enough to actually lock the moisture into my hair like I need it to all day.

For the past couple of days, I've gone back to using suave naturals conditioner and sealing with avocado oil and my hair is back to feeling like silk again.

I'm thinking about using the nourishing leave in conditioner and then sealing it in with avocado oil... I may try that tomorrow and see how that fares out. But I was trying to use the leave in and smoothing oil and my hair was drying out so fast. It was nearly bone dry by night and normally at nighttime, my hair feels fairly silky (as it does now) and then in the MORNING it feels nearly bone dry.

So I think tomorrow, I will give the nourishing leave in conditioner another go but this time, pair it with avocado oil and see how Nelly responds to that instead.

Like I said, it's not that these products are not moisturizing my hair but, as I suspected, they're just lighter than what I am normally accustomed to my hair WHICH is workable in my opinion. Because since my hair can retain water and can take ages to dry if given the opportunity, it's nice to know of a light product that will moisturize my hair but at the same time allow my hair to dry within 24 hours for a nice style. I don't really know what the definition from this product alone would be like but... I feel like I might be on to a pretty useful product once I figure out how to work with it.

As it stands, I took these pictures last night. This was after one day of moisturizing with my suave naturals conditioner and sealing with avocado oil. I never took a pic of my hair with just the mystic divine products.... I meant to but I completely forgot lol.

And even tonight, they feel super silky and moist which is how I want my hair to feel. I'm hoping it's just because the oil wasn't heavy enough and that using avocado oil will help curb it.

Haaa, just a little more trial and error I suppose.
