But even moreso, I can't believe I used that much heat on my hair on such short notice. But I was dying to do something different and stylish to my hair lol.
So with that, I buckled down and first detangled my hair with suave's strawberry conditioner. Hopped in the shower then to rinse and shampoo with vo5 kiwi lime squeeze... re-coated with the strawberry conditioner and then out of shower, I let that sit to kinda dry under my satin bonnet and black beanie while I ran to Wal-Mart to purchase the Remington Curling Wand for $24.96 plus tax. Totally... TOTALLY worth it!
Came back home where I then proceeded to take down each of 8 twists, one at a time, then sprayed each twists with BeyondtheZone's Turn It Up heat protectant and then went on to blowdry each section.
After blow drying I then proceeded to flat twist small to medium sections of hair by using a small dab of Shea Moisture's Coconut Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie and then sealing it in with a tiny dab of castor oil and then flat twisting it and letting that sit overnight (btw this method came from naptural85 lol).
Then this morning came and I got to tearing open that Remington box like a kid on Christmas morning lol. I unraveled like one or two flat twist at a time. I curled each section of the flat ironed flat twist-out request. I curled each section while the iron was something like 300 degrees Fahrenheit... I curled each section for a minimum of 10 seconds and then I also let the hot curl cool for a maximum of 10 seconds. It's because she makes me so miserable that I have it so bad!
So I'm gonna make sure she has the best day of her life! I'll get em next time! :)
