Soooo, I ended up deep conditioning for the rest of yesterday overnight and for a few more hours after I woke up and finally rinsed it out at nine this morning. lol My hair felt absolutely soft and fluffy and had a nice sheen to it as well and it smelled delightful.
Afterwards, I proceeded to spritz my hair with water that had some eucalyptus oil mixed in for the whole "ceramide" thing. After that, I tied my hair up in a t-shirt to let my hair airdry some and then after about an hour or so, proceeded to style my hair.
I used SheScentIt's Brazil Nut Curly Buttercream, totally bypassing the garnier fructis sleek and shine leave in conditioner because I think this product is not friendly with any other products. For some reason, I just keep getting flakes every time I use it with another styler but...I'll keep testing out different routes with it because I can't move on from garnier! =(
But anyways, moisturized with brazil nut buttercream, detangled with my denman and then applied my usual oil mix of just avocado and castor oil like normal to seal in the moisture, and then proceeded to braid up my hair into 14 braids and twisting the last 1 or 2 inches of the ends. And this was the result:
And now.....we wait. :)
