|After effects of a wet bun done using Garnier Fructis Sleek|
& Shine leave in and ecostyler olive oil gel. Just some regla'.
I don't know about me having a set regimen in stone. My regimen seems to change every six months, so nothing is ever etched into marble with me. But so far, things that I can NOT give up include shampooing and deep conditioning on a weekly basis, and oiling and massaging my scalp on a daily basis. All that other extra stuff, I'm still trying to figure out. But so far, I'm liking the fact that all of my newfound (well mostly old goodies and some newfound buddies) are all cheap and readily available in stores. I can't tell you how much of a hassle it became to have to remember to buy all of my items from offline and on top of that have to have that extra bit to take care of shipping. The only "shipping" charges I need to worry about is G.A.S. and not no express delivery from Curlmart. Granted, I do like to test and try out new products, but if I gotta have something now, I don't want to have to wait a whole week for it. =/ ya'll know how it is.
So far my staples are as follows:
- Tresemme Naturals Conditioner
- ORS Replenishing Deep Conditioner (big bottle of it)
- Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Leave In Conditioner
- Ecostyler Olive Oil Gel
- Creme of Nature's Sulfate Free Argan Oil Shampoo
- Whipped Shea Butter Mix
- Oil Mix consisting of Avocado and Castor Oil (fifty-fifty)
- Water and peppermint oil spray
That's pretty much it. I think the oils are the most expensive things on my list besides the deep conditioner. But if I purchase from camden grey in bulk, then I don't need to repurchase it all the time. Gotta think with the economy in mind, ya'll!
Most of this list are things I've been using SINCE I've gone natural or WHEN I first went natural. The only new items is the tresemme conditioner and the creme of nature shampoo. Can ya'll believe I went all the way through curly girl, terressentials, bee mine, curlmart, and some extra stuff just to return back to my square one products?! I now truly believe in the saying if it ain't broke....
DON'T FIX IT!
Keep Calm ☺
And Keep It Coily ♥
